Hmm, it will hurt the SP in the short term as the market is not rational. It was only a small amount of his holdings - looked about 10%
What most in the market don't realise is that directors only have very limited opportunities to buy or sell shares because the trading rules prevent them doing so. He may not get another chance for months so if he needs some money so be it.
This creates a short term trade opportunity IMO
