Somehow, though, I don't think the 400,000 pre-consolidation shares will go too far toward helping an institution build a position in MPO.
As a few have posted, very ill timed indeed. I'm not a big rap for directors who get shares on the cheap via free issue options, and then churn them later by selling the shares for cash. To me it is the sign of someone a little out of touch with the current feeling of shareholders.
That said, there really could be any number of reasons for selling at this point. I'm choosing not to read too much into it.
