Great post IP56. I thought I hade completed all my due dilligence as well on an Opes stock - yes, it always worries me when Directors trade their shares which they obviously were doing indirectly when highly geared. It gave me a jolt. In fairness though, we cannot expect this to be in the public domain and those that have in the past, have been exposed. Greed killed many off, however, from what I have seen, many have bought them again somehow through related entities which begs the wuestion - who has financed them this time? We ere also warned of unethical behaviour within many of the penny stocks - I guess this now has to be factored in as future risk.
