Anyone that's secured D and O insurance in the last couple of years could speak to the eye watering premium increases. Ag is particularly expensive given the OHS claims that have been brought against directors recently. When you think about the risk profile of this business from an OHS perspective (aviation and ag), and the fact that we outsource so little, there are so many moving parts and opportunities for shit to hit the fan, it's not a very appealing business to insure. 3 mill does sound extreme though (and really does make you wonder whether during their look under the hood, the underwriter has identified an increased likelihood of shareholders taking action against directors).
