If we continue to follow the 1970's decade then eventually the Oil Uranium Gold Silver stocks etc, will go their own way and not follow the Dow.
The Dow started the 1970's and ending the 1970's at about the same price.
Zero gain for the decade for the Dow, while many Oil, Gold, Silver, uranium, base metal stocks etc went to the moon in price during the 1970's
It should happen at some point this decade too.
