The cutback will still take some time, but will not interfere with ore mining.
What happened to the first fix (walling off the toe)? Well, it worked, but only to fix the wall failure from December. After it was completed the damage was fixed, but the root cause not fixed:
In the early staged of wet season the rain will just go through the sand, reach the saprolite clay and after that the sand overburden will slide off the underlying saprolite clay layer into the pit. Just at the south side. That will be fixed until end of year or early December. Without the fix it is no problem for now, but will be in the next wet season.
The othe problem is understanding the orebody. They will announce updated resources/reserves end of October as stated earlier.
Some good comments from attenting shareholders at the meeting (off the records) included the 2% royalty on the Sandstone properties and iron ore royalty in Brazil.
