Sneider - I actually agree with you. There seems to be a distinct lack of care and consideration for shareholders......and I will support my argument further thus:

1) the media has been used to "Leak" information about bids about the banking situation
2) the same media have also said "senior execs" have presented to major investors

so what about us - the small backbone investors - what information have we received ? There is no ann. because deals have not been formalised - that I understand - but there is a two tier system here - principal investors - who get spoonfed actual information whilst we rely upon media and specualtion.

The directors ARE responsible and whilst I accept it creates volatility there is NOT open information coming out for people to make a rational and fair decision about whether to invest.

The ASX is SUPPOSED to be about opennesss and a fair playing field - the directors are not makign it that way.
