Because 'larger investment houses' buy every day because they are sucking profits out of the rest of us mugs. That is what they do. They trade on the movement in a market - as long as the market moves - whether up or down - they buy, they sell, they make profit. We may have invested money for the long term hoping to see the directors manage the quantification and production of the resource for a long term return. But while directors sit and fiddle their thumbs these 'larger investment houses' are making money out of money rate movements and not real resource improvements and production.
