By your own arguments you are saying that Simon should have pushed back against performance rights to Non Executive Directors, the Chair included. And yet you’re now onboard. Let’s hope it’s the (deteriorating) macro environment and growing resource base that ultimately rewards shareholders, based on a strategy that for all intents and purposes has mirrored the macro environment.

Shame that the share price has been lagging, Let’s hope the board hasn’t changed strategy to grow the resource to over 2M ounces in the current environment. No, let’s hope the new board under Simon thinks that 2M is a soft target and goes for 4M ounces instead in the next 3 years and do that for a doubling of their directors fees. I’d be onboard with that as well.
