Really, people on this forum talk like success for BLT and a 100 bagger to ALNY's market cap is a mere foregone conclusion!

Surely you should all take a cold shower knowing that gene therapy has been littered with failure and difficulty in refining as a commercial treatment for decades. There is no doubt what they are doing is very interesting work and science (the first permanent in-human gene therapy trial that cannot be withdrawn?!) - but there are so many challenges ahead - scientific unknowns, commercial, funding, trials, competition, patents.

I think a more objective analysis is required. Backing BLT is like backing a horse in the Melbourne Cup at 100-1. A rank outsider, but oh that warm fuzzy feeling IF something magical happens......
