Abbott has been the wrecker because he has had so much ammo to work with! Why Gillard is determined to change so much in such a short time is beyond me, surely it must be blatantly obvious to people that australia is sick of politics and just wants a couple of years of absolutely nothing changing so they have a chance to rebuild after the GFC. But noooooo its just not good enough for brown and his nutters, we have to bring in an endless array of complexity, giving on one hand subsidies/taxing the hell out of us on another. Who wants more interference in their lives? Frankly i would like more time to go fishing and play with my kids than having to listen to or think about these cretins.
What I want to see is a genuine conservative party start up in Australia, without all the racist nonsense. Just common sense and business minded. Less welfare to bludgers and more help for people who need it. Less red tape. Less face time and populist nonsense from career bureaucrats. Unions kicked in the nuts. Lower income taxes, particularly at the top end. None of this socialist wealth redistribution via carbon taxes (I talked to my canadian mates on this day and they were in stitches). Migration limited by an absolute number regardless of humanitarian need. Foreign aid slashed except to critical neighbours (not indonesia, what a waste that is - unless its for border security). Leave Afganistan and all other idiotic wars.
Whats the bet that 60%+ of Australia would find something to agree with in the above list.
