There is an old saying: You can prove anything with statistics except the truth.

I do not know if the numbers that have been posted are true or not, not my area and I would have to trust the source of the information.

That is the point the source, who is doing the math, the Greens; China varies on what outcome they want or just scientist doing their job?

What is more noticeable to me is the fact of how events changed once talk of processing in the EU came up. One person blows the whole thing up and here we are which really looks like if China cannot control REE then no one gets the prize.

If you were China what would be your goal, you control over 90 percent of all REE, a strong economic and military tool to have. With this project, you insert your team to partner with GGG and thereby keeping control of REE to a point. If things did not go your way as China's best choice then is to keep it shut down, always keeping your grip on the throat of REE. IMO.
