While I am in favour of this, I must say it is a little complex. I live in the country and know some one on DSP who has a bad back. Surrounding towns are not that big. Getting work for them will now be very difficult unless they move. They should have done so long ago but it is now too late. Mobility of workers is a major problem in Oz. If you live in Sydney you do not want to move because of housing costs. Yet Regional areas want workers that are lowly paid.

800,000 people on DSP is a scandal.
