It’s a bit of a laugh really. Co welcomes onboard TW, and offers great share incentives and bonuses. TW thinks to himself- I have these shares that i need to keep for a while, I suppose I can make good money ‘renting’ them out as ‘shorts’. The Co gets absolutely bent over as the shorters relentlessly drive the ‘tech/gambling’ share down to rock bottom.
At rock bottom Company is vulnerable to vultures, and shortly TW will probably buy a whole lot more shares, then tell the shorters he wants his shares back and you all know what happens from there!
The old ‘rich getting richer’ theory… all imo!
