It's always a red flag for me when a new CEO arrives and within a few months announces huge change. My experience is that it takes a good 6-12 months to understand any new organisation thoroughly both as a manager and as a director. I might have been happier with todays announcement if it were delivered next quarter or even this time next year. The company has so much going for it but I need to sit on the sidelines for now and see where it lands. It just feels like they have decided to push back against the tailwinds of the flywheel at the moment. It doesn't make sense.
