Good point. The fact that CUV has a relatively low number of shares outstanding is one of the main reasons why I'm invested. If interest is sparked and trading volume increases, a rapid rise in the share price can follow. We saw it in 2021. Don't get me wrong. I don't doubt the benefits of a buyback. On the contrary, I only question the timing, despite the currently favorable stock price. Why sacrifice earnings and the hard-earned cash reserves that CUV so desperately needs for studies? My only concern is that any upswing may not be sustainable without additional revenue streams on the horizon in the near future. With EPP alone, financing ongoing buybacks could prove challenging. Let's not forget that as the SP rises, it would become increasingly expensive. However, this is solely my opinion, and everyone is free to think differently.
