haha, if you have so much faith in the investment capabilities of big pharma like Novartis, why don't you just own shares in Novartis, why bother wasting your own time.

As an example, why don't you just google "Novortis + write off" or replace Novartis with any other big pharma name and have a look at the long list of failed investments.

As I said before, these companies often make big bets, don't always get them right. To suggest that you should just trust their expensive research teams with long resume and titles and not make up your own mind is not only dumb, but inconsistent with investing directly yourself instead of just parking all your hard earned cash with them.
