Among Muslims there seems to be a deeply held conviction that a Muslim cannot do anything which would bring a bad name to Islam and lead to adverse consequences to the Muslim community. Therefore, it is not surprising to see them questioning the authenticity of any historical event that contradicts this myth.
When it comes to Islamophobia, I think that bellow is a good historic example of that.
