    If these gospels are divinely inspired, then they shouldn't contain these differences in the fist place, because God is All-Knowing and knows exactly what happened and what not including every single detail.

    These differences indicate them simply being man-made works and not the result of divine inspiration.

    Many scholars today regard the Gospel of Mark as the earliest of all four canonical ones and date it around 70 CE. They also regard Luke and Matthew as mostly relying on Mark.As for the Gospel of John, then it seems to be last one of the canonical ones.

    These four gospels are basically like biographical works regarding the life and teachings of our Master Jesus (peace be upon him).

    It is something expected that different biographical works contain some different and maybe even conflicting informations and also the personal opinions of their respective authors and this because these works are simply the product of fallible human beings and not result of divine inspiration.
