I get pretty jacked off when every time there is a disaster somewhere in the world QBE stock gets hit. Most of the time in relation to domestic events, they have little exposure, as most of there liabilities are offshore, particularly in the US, but they are always very slow in informing the market so the share price gets hammered along with the rest of the sector while they are silent. Management need to be far more proactive in updating/reassuring the market as to the potential exposures to the various events, even as they change or they get a better handle on them.
The floods have been going for a while now, but so far crickets about the dimension of their exposure.
