Appointing me to vote by being given a proxy for my companies for what they said were my 'shares' also gave me permission to 'say your name at the meeting (please bring some ID) and you will be appointed to vote on your combined holding of.....shares.'
Not bad for someone who wasn't the owner of the shares being alloed to vote on major issues at an AGM. Motions at the meeting had a serious effect on issues relating to expanding the capital of the company in executive issues of stock. The person who was the legal owner I guess controlled the vote.
Did the ANZ own these shares.
