    I hope that bread is premium. At WOW for around $4.50 you get a good quality Abbott's or Helga's, for example. I prefer the variety that's around 6.3gr/fibre per 100gr, 6.3%. The more grainy loaves are denser, not that I plan it, but they are 850gr v 700gr, more bread for you $. Any given time someone is on special, eg, 2 for $7.
    'Green' bread doesn't seem to be stored correctly once baked. It must also be noted that the less preservative loaves won't last as long once home, but it shouldn't be green from the shop or within 48hrs of purchase!
    Just on principal, you should bulk buy from a major town/city, realising your fuel will out strip the savings.
    PS: I do support WOW. Recently Coles opened it's doors and I admit they have some stuff WOW don't. Eg, Sushi and believe it or not, WHOLE PITTED Spanish olives(in jar). WOW doesn't??? They have Kalamata.
