Ramelius Resources (RMS.AU) soars to A$1.00 then eases, last up
69% at 91 cents on trading of 722,739 shares. Jumps follows report of one of best
intercepts in history of gold mining in Australia during resource extension drilling at
Wattle Dam mine, near Kambalda. One hole assayed a "spectacular" 154 grams/ton
of gold over 48 meters, including a 1 meter hit of 1.78 kilograms of gold/ton, with a
nearby hole returning 13 meters at 32 grams/ton. More exploration planned, with scoping
study for underground mining development also started.
