He/she buys & sells from/to. other owners of stock in IVZ, who are mostly US residents. i.e. the OTC market is NOT a US recognised stock exchange like the Nasdaq nor the NYSE. You could well be curious about this from the small volumes of shares of any stock traded daily on the OTC.
