After trying to contact over the past week, Brett's family have informed me from his phone today that he passed away yesterday.
For those who don't know, he had beaten cancer over recent years, and it was not the cause.
Pneumonia got him.
His family were able to say goodbye, and are obviously heartbroken.
It's also devastating that after all his years with Nor on HC, he no longer with us as things are looking up for his Norwood's.
I know how much he's been looking forward to the overdue celebrations and banter here when the big deals finally hit.
