IMVHO. You've got a handle Geospud so I would think you have some mining experience. I don't like the likely misleading signals of betting the house or a large part thereof on a single mining share. Let alone a single commodity single mine share. It might be different if it was say BHP.
You may be right selling the house into an overheated housing market and ignoring all the benefits (including tax) that entails. However, having spent a lifetime being the custodian of people's financial plans, I feel compelled to venture there's soemthing you're not telling us like a change in life circumstances e.g relationship change or employment change. You would most probably be enjoying the freedom that comes with it though.
On the plus side, I misread you handle previous as GEO HUG and find that to be a forum for chat from geo's with free presentations to of some value.
Again IMVHO and my comments are more intended to protect less experienced investors in mining companies unaware of the risk-reward profile of smaller companies.
