That sure is a broad question and my apologies for throwing in a partial answer pending the one from the person to whom it is directed.
Malayite is a calcium tin silicate with the Chemical formula CaSnOSiO4. That being the case we have the problem of Ca substituting for Sn and concentrates from gravity or flotation (if possible) having less Sn in it than pure SNO.SiO4 with commensurately less value and being harder to recover. I.e to the extent it occurs in Renison it would tend to want to seak out in the tails or the plant is set to reject it. So when we do endeavour to collect it in the Rentails retreatment we are going to probably complex it with something that can break it away from the SiO4 a reductant (chemical) or fume it off (thermal).
I would opine because of the ubiquity of Na and Ca aluminates and silicates in mineral melts they tend to persist to much higher temperatures so won't be that easy to separate away.
In summary, float, fluxing then fuming would be the way to recover the Sn out of Malayite. It would need to be present in sufficient quantities to make the effort worthwhile (easier at present given high Sn prices).

Once again my apologies and hopefully I have offset any rudeness by providing discussion points.
