Cash price on LME currently US$27000 so they’re getting their A$40000 - cheapness of MLX hinges only on the AISC, which is something under their control. They are set up nicely for future mining, hopefully Sn is now consolidating at at this point giving MLX a solid incentive to deliver to the market. Alpha Mining is one to watch for some sentiment in the market- seems to have lifted from recent lows.
