As with what we witnessed a little while ago with LME nickel contracts, we might merely be witnessing quite a bit of hedging.
As this market is too inelastic, had the Reddit crew gone very long again, we may have witnessed a monstrous short call, yet again.
Alas, the fences were erected around suppliers in order to protect the market last time, all the while letting shareholders feel the short term pain, as we are currently witnessing.
Yet another mechanism to keep order I guess.
