I actually think they're up for it but stage-wise. I mean CYM are currently in trading halt re-negotiating their equity piece for re fianicing. MLX can:
Re-negotiate their convertible notes as part of this.
Take up some cheap equity.
Any combination of the above. Then move to final takeover or sale some time down the track as the paln plays out. Anny invesor with ability would do tis and I cna tell you thye are bette r than most.
For instance i loved the way they soeld their options in NC1 when the Ni price spiked due to that Ni scam. I didnt have the verve to sell my small NC1 parcel.
BTW I think they should do the same for NC1 as it develops. How on earth NC1 is going to raise 40% of $2.5 b
I have no idea but they could go the route of RXM and JV it. MLX can be expected to deal themselves in on that over time too.
