Well, sales of electric cars (presumably 100% ) not hybrid, dropped almost 50 % last month in China and the EU, with removal of all subsidies on purchase, incentives etc. in both areas. These two have been contributing the predominant share of global electric car demand.
There just is not enough electricity about to run them, and both areas especially the EU are very keen to cut electricity consumption just now. Electricity costs for recharging have skyrocketed too.
