Assuming it is even an option, I'd take buying out the JV over acquiring another mine. Sure, being a one mine operator carries some risk, but MLX know exactly what they would be getting if they bought the rest of Renison. Buying another operation is always fraught with risk... just look at how Nifty went (for both MLX and CYM!!!)
