Does anyone have any insights on the persistent spread between SHFE and LME?
SHFE is trading at around US$29k/t vs US$25k/t at LME. LME stock pile has been depleting steadily while SHFE has been building up inventory. Would have expected the spread to narrow considerably given this dynamic. Yet here we are at US$4k/t still. Would be nice if MLX could monetize SHFE pricing. LME has become a basket case of an exchange. All liquidity is moving to SHFE.
