You can sugarcoat it, but the annual return on RXL is a 'whopping' 37%, which is not substantially higher than you'd have invested in physical gold. Given the volatility and high risk profile of RXL, plus the constant drop in SP in the last 7 months, we can safely say there were probably better opportunities in the market 12 months ago. I said this here before, but I can't stress this enough. Basically everyone who bought RXL in the last 7 months made a sizable loss. People who bought it in June/July 2020 are currently at over a 60% loss (unless they sold earlier at a loss).
Good luck pumping the stock when the SP has been in a constant downward spiral for over half year and almost noone from the new investors made any money so far. The question here is why would anyone buy this stock when they could buy it cheaper later? At least this is what the last 6 months of data suggests us. Hopefully this trend will be soon reversed with a couple of positive ANNs, but honestly I have 0 expectations towards this company.
