climate change has been around for milllions of years

the real issue is if the rate of change now is any different than before and whether we are playing a role in it

i'd like to think mankind might be able to adapt to slow climate change- but i am not so sure thats what we are dealing with- and by the time we realise it, it will probably be too late

and please- nobody quote me dorothy mackellars poem again!
