Maybe because they already own and are happy to see the spike in price? Or its a company insider? In any case, the security that the publishers of this newsletter use is pathetic. They could do a lot better with minimal effort. At the moment they distribute these newsletters as a link to a PDF. Dead simple to forward. Their password policy is a case of one username and password for every subscriber. A simple dictionary attack can crack that in a few minutes. So I don't have any sympathy for them when it gets leaked.
Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for Alex Cowie and his stock picking skills, and I was previously a subscriber, but no longer. Why bother when you can just log onto these forums, search using a few well-chosen key words, and get all the recommendations for nothing.
