Private enterprise is hard and many in govt Jobs or the likes of the ABC could do with a wake up call. They will change their tune when they understand the commercial world. Very easy to sit in a tower and think you are better than that, but it’s the opposite. No body armour, no blankets, no unions just outcomes. If they ever privatise the command post, they will lose 20% plus of the work force. It would be a hell of a fight to get this done as Labor, the greens and unions are tied up within it for decades. It’s one of their beach heads. I think it would take a majority lib govt and a workable senate. Nether of those things are here or likely to happen soon. The ABC will be gone in its current formate one day and the world won’t end.
