Yes, an announcement would allay shareholder's fears if they were to confirm all is OK with sales and China.
However, they can't be expected to respond to every analyst's viewpoint.
Whilst I would like for them to provide some sort of guidance to stop the share price decline, their time is better spent running the business.
If there is nothing material to report, then we should all assume everything is OK.
In my view, it is now too late to provide any profit guidance as this would suggest that someone has had the inside running on very confidential information.
As I don't think this is the case, then I see the current share price decline as a great buying opportunity, which I have taken advantage of.
