Anyone present whose taxable income comes even close to their actual income is a bad investor/trader. Anyone who believes that 84% of those with a taxable income under $37k is actually taking under $37k pa is an idiot. Anyone espousing the same is probably either working for the IPA or trying to hold onto their seat before an unwinnable election.
I'll take advantage of any legal means to reduce my tax bill because I have kids but I'll vote to close any vote-buying handouts to the wealthy, because I have kids.
