I think once the egg was scrambled it can't be easily unscambled without causing some segments of the population quite significant harm. The reduction in pa income could be, for some, 20 - 30%. Now, if the workers of the world were told their wages were to fall by that level, there would be an outcry of huge proportion. To do that to people who've been living their lives and planning their finances for many years with return of imp.credits, just overnight, is truly appalling. What other policy has been implemented which has this as one of its consequences?
However, that egg was scrambled by Howard and Costello when the economy could afford to do so but it can't be unscrambled without dire consequences of some. It should never have occurred in the first place......if H and C were women, they would have been too smart to do that!!!!
