We don't wash them like you do without a dishwasher, we rinse any that have a sticky or greasy surface.
Then we wash on the lowest cycle.
Often I just rinse things like glasses under the hot tap and leave them full for a while and then sit them in the drying rack.
But I have always been a grub. A healthy one but still a grub.
