A fine description of the EDO — a “disruptive, expensive pest”. Apart from impeding the progress of major resource projects which Australia sorely needs, the EDO’s main achievement thus far has been to line the pockets of well-off lawyers engaged to put down ridiculous myths such as that of the ‘rainbow serpent’. Full marks to Natalie Charlesworth for her judgement in the recent Santos case, and for exposing the lies of that bent academic Dr Mick O’Leary.
