    Kashga, yes I understand about the scale required when drilling production wells. I think the GT 3000 is designed to provide rapid, low cost access to depths greater than 3000 metres for exploration, although still at diameters of around 6 inches at depth. The rig also has an extremely high pull back capacity of more than 250 tonnes so it can set casing to those depths, i believe they have already had a BOP installed at Merredin where last time I heard anything they had drilled to 700 metres and cased with 7inch casing to case out the water they discovered flowing through deep fissures in the rock. When you have a site like the GDY sites in the Cooper basin that are slated for long term energy production, then it is not so risky to invest in setting up the larger deep drilling rigs on thier platforms, but for exploration to great depth, to assess resources and geology, i think the GT 3000 is going to have an important role to play.
