My final thoughts before the ann. This deal must be done and preferably with mutual good will. With a co-operative acquisition/merger(?) the medium to long term benefits should be enormous. In the short to medium term at least, failure to execute will most probably ensure dismal consequences for this company. Expectations have been raised very high. Too much publicity, effort, time and money has been expended for it fall at the last hurdle.
