I would think that Gina is down about $600,000 (on paper). For her, surely that's no big deal. One long lunch. She probably doesn't even know the exact amount, let alone worry about it.
I would presume that she is still holding - can you imagine her buying such a (relatively) small parcel with the aim of making a short-term capital gain on the shares?
In buying AKM (and GUF) she appeared to be making a point to the Aust Government that there are other countries in the world with fabulous resource wealth to invest in.
Who knows? Maybe one day she'll do a promotion - a 'Steel Mill Special' - buy a shipload of iron ore and get a trainload of AKM coking coal for free.
