    Thumbs up Hanrahan. I totally agree with you. In fact where I am at in the Monbiot book "Heat", he has started talking about distributed generation and a distributed smart grid. (He even mentioned something by a NZ company called the Whispergen which sounds like a forerunner of Bluegen, but it isn't fuel-cell based, at its core is a Stirling combustion engine. I'm sure Bluegen is more efficient and produces fewer emissions.)
