re: distribution happening; ripped Assume that I am the authority here. Everyone is rushing to get in this space with the current Guidant takeover offers from J and J and Boston Scientific.

The external power source is common to all devices short of someone inventing something different. The current external device on one product only allows enough time for the wearer to take a shower!

There is no distribution. I know who is selling what to whom and I know that there are big buy orders out there and at least three recent buyers are specialist medical practitioners.

Interestingly Novacor came out last night with the announcement that it is developing a non pulsatile device of similar propulsion method to supplement their pulsatile device.

I know that hospitals want to try Heartware. It will not progress slowly like VCR in my opinion. I think there is not that much enthusiasm for the VCR device and that it is not going that well- my opinion. I think you will find that with VCR being developed by world famous cardiologist Bud Frasier from the Texas Heart Institute it will have an easier passage.

My tip , though, is that the first implant will take place in Australia or Northern Europe. Just a guess of course.

This product has the advantage of not having been tried in people in contrast to the VCR with its underwhelming product defect recall in this very pre commercial stage.

Wait and see. The buying is smart. This company won't be desperately seeking funds all the time. I reckon it will get taken over.
