Yep signing a deal with the exclusive Taser distributor for Aust and NZ is a very smart move by Lee. VERY VERY VERY smart.

Why?

Because the distributor has got the inside track on all those police force SWAT requirements and key players. The product fulfils a need ie mix of non lethal and lethal and Aussie designed, plus do not have to refer to the Aust DOD for purchasing decision - done at State level or different dept at Fed level.

Of course they may consult but do not have to defer - yeah a very good move by mgt. Wonder whats next - Fire brigades for high rise comes to mind (Firestorm), and Bush fire brigades for inaccessible areas (MAUL) - the pyrogenic capability was established years ago.
