This story just keeps on popping its head up - a central mining and processing hub for the district, dominated by the triangled locations of Mt Carbine, the Watershed mine (formerly Vital Metals) which is located further NW of Mt Carbine and the old Wolfram Camp tungsten mine which is located SW of Mt Carbine.
There has even been mention in the past of establishing a smelting plant for vertical integration processing of concentrate - I guess its a ways off but I think the key message to read between the lines here is that this would be doing the Qld Govt a huge favour if they were to go down that path.
We'll see.....but at least EQR have the luxury of the option.
