Once again, this week cash is king. The events over the last 24 hours meant that those with cash had a definite advantage over those that did not. A supermarket couldn't process a card transaction. I got thorough the checkout ahead of a queue because I had cash. The local servo had a sign "Sorry, cash transactions only".
Cash is king. Use it or lose it.
